COMMUNITY, HYGGE AND CHARITY

Copenhagen is a fantastic city with beautiful parks, lovely harbour environment, cozy neighborhoods, lots of street food and a wealth of good festivals and concerts. We love it!

But even though there is always a lot of life in the streets and even though we are surrounded by a lot of people, it may be difficult to get to know new people.

Therefore, we go into the adventure of creating new friendships. We want to create a space where we can meet across culture, religion, sexual orientation, political standpoint, etc.

So come and join us! Everyone is welcome!

Love,
Us who believe in God :)

WHAT WITH THE REST OF THE YEAR?

We would really like to show even more love for people and the city, so we work on making several events.

You don’t have to have a faith to join us. You are very welcome no matter who you are!

ABOUT US

OUR VISION

Our hope and dream with Connect København is that you may get to know a lot of new people and that our events must be the start of lifelong friendships.

WHO WE ARE

The team behind Connect København is from various churches and church organizations.

You don’t have to be a person of faith to join Connect København. On the contrary, we love diversity and different views of life. So come and join us and let us break down prejudice and isolation together.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

<3

We believe that there is a God, and that he loves you. He created you, just like he has created everything that exists, and you can´t do anything that will make Him love you more. Also, you can’t do anything that will make Him love you less.

%

We are convinced, that when we live lives without God, we can’t feel His love – “My heart is restless until it finds rest in you” as a Christian formulated it many years ago. Instead, our lives easily begins to spin around ourselves. This self-centeredness is, according to Christianity, to miss the purpose of our life.

All through the Christian story, God has tried to approach humans in different ways, so that His love may reach us.

We believe that at the end, He decided to enter our physical world as a human being. That’s why Jesus is so important. We believe that the world fundamentally changed at the birth of Jesus, because it’s now possible to relate to God through Him. To be a Christian is to have a relationship with Jesus. We know that this is hard to understand, and maybe also a bit weird.

?

Maybe you are considering what such a relationship could look like? If so, ask one of us who are a part of Connect Kbh. (the people with batches) what this relationship looks like in our life.

You are also more than welcome to visit one of the churches / organisations that are hosting Connect Kbh.
